Ricky Stuart has urged every Raiders fan in Canberra to buy a ticket for the Round 15 match against the Warriors as the club looks to break a GIO Stadium ground record to celebrate Jarrod Croker's 300th game in the NRL.

The Raiders coach announced on Saturday night that Croker won't play in next Friday's game against the Wests Tigers, with the club keen to honour him properly in front of their home fans when he brings up the 300 game milestone.
He will become just the second Raiders player after Jason Croker to bring up the milestone, with the veteran centre already the club's leading point scorer and try scorer.

Ricky Stuart insists he is not disrespecting the Wests Tigers by resting Jarrod Croker next week so the Canberra captain can play his 300th NRL game in front of the Raiders' home crowd.

The Raiders' 33-26 defeat of South Sydney on Saturday night marked Croker's 299th first-grade game and the veteran centre had been set to become the 48th player to reach 300 games when the Raiders meet the Tigers next Friday.

Instead, Stuart will leave Croker out of the clash at Campbelltown Stadium, and recall him the following week when the Raiders host the Warriors at GIO Stadium in Canberra.

With Corey Harawira-Naera collapsing and on his way to hospital after suffering a seizure, his Canberra Raiders teammates somehow put the troubling scenes behind him to rally for their fallen mate.

Thankfully Harawira-Naera was conscious and talking to medical staff, but there was plenty of concerns for the likeable Kiwi as he lay on the ground.

Somehow, the Raiders put it behind them to come from behind to beat South Sydney 33-26 at Homebush on Saturday night.
