Corey Harawira-Naera's will miss at least 4-6 weeks following his seizure on the field, with the Canberra Raiders star back in Sydney for further testing on Tuesday.

The medical thinking around what caused him to collapse with 14 minutes remaining in the 33-26 win over South Sydney on Saturday was shifting towards being concussion related.

But at this stage there's no concrete answer, although it could be the accumulation of Harawira-Naera's previous two hit-ups and a tackle he made before that.

State of Origin is about moments. And Canberra Raiders great Mal Meninga thinks Hudson Young has the X-factor to help take those moments.

Young will make his Origin debut for the NSW Blues in the series opener against the Queensland Maroons at Adelaide Oval on Wednesday.

Meninga told The Canberra Times last year he was surprised Young hadn't been in the mix to make his representative debut during last year's series.

Wests Tigers will not pay too much attention to Canberra's decision to rest skipper Jarrod Croker ahead of his 300th game, instead focusing on themselves as they try to keep their winning momentum going.

Croker is set to miss Friday's clash against the Tigers at Campbelltown Stadium after coach Ricky Stuart opted to rest him so he can play his milestone game in Canberra.

Stuart made the call after the side's win against South Sydney at the weekend, saying it would allow Croker's family and fans to celebrate the achievement together.
