No, the triumphant Queensland coach wasn't talking about his own coaching career.
He was talking about the bloke standing a few metres away holding a can of XXXX and with the maroon-coloured blazer on, Slater's assistant coach, Josh Hannay.

Please explain: NRL sanctions Kerr over Klein comments
Josh Kerr was sanctioned by NRL for saying the game is "rorted" and calling referee Klein a "double agent."

Queensland forward Josh Kerr has been sanctioned by the NRL after comments he made about referee Ashley Klein following the State of Origin series decider.
The 29-year-old, who was 20th man for the Maroons in their 24-12 win, spoke the morning after the win and said "the game's rorted", and referred to Klein as a "double agent".
Dolphins prop Kerr, who likes to crack jokes, had his tongue in cheek with the comments, but they were not well received by the NRL.
