St George Illawarra Dragons head coach Shane Flanagan has admitted he would have paid a fine for press conference comments on Saturday evening after his side's loss to the Canberra Raiders.

The Dragons, who went into the game severely understrength owing to a mounting injury toll - Lachlan Ilias was the only Top 30 player left not in the squad for Saturday evening's game - fought hard but ultimately came up short of a dramatic comeback against the Raiders, who seemed to suffer yet another lapse in concentration during the second half.

Adam Doueihi dismissed rumors of a falling-out with coach Benji Marshall, calling the incident exaggerated.

Wests Tigers star Adam Doueihi has spoken up about his relationship with embattled coach Benji Marshall to rubbish suggestions of a falling-out between the pair.
