We love the mighty Canberra Raiders
Jordan Rapana's made a deal with Canberra Raiders coach Ricky Stuart.
Rapana can play for the Maori All Stars in Rotorua on February 11 - provided there's no repeat of last year.
The Raiders winger copped a two-game suspension after he let his emotions get the better of him in the Maori's 16-10 victory over the Indigenous All Stars at Parramatta Stadium.
His Maori All Stars co-captaincy played a role in turning him into the best prop in the world.
Canberra Raiders prop Joe Tapine's hoping this year's NRL All Stars game can have a similar effect for his 2023 season.
Tapine's coming off his best NRL campaign, where he emerged as the premier prop in the game.
"The list is good. We just haven't signed any of them - because we can't," Canberra Raiders chief executive Don Furner said with a laugh.
That inaugural Raiders list will be a combination of established NRLW players, Canberra talent and players from the country.
But with the NRL and Rugby League Players' Association yet to agree on a CBA for this year, the Green Machine can't officially sign anyone for their maiden season yet.
