The New Zealand Warriors have launched their 2025 'Dear Warrior' jersey, an emotional and visually striking design created by former player Lewis Brown, in what's being described as a world-first collaboration between a professional athlete-turned-designer and an elite sporting club.

Set to debut in Round 12 next season against Canberra, the jersey is the product of a deeply personal creative process undertaken by Brown and sportswear manufacturer Dynasty Sport.

Raiders' Matty Nicholson faces surgery for a syndesmosis injury and fractured fibula, sidelining him long-term.

Canberra Raiders forward Matty Nicholson is facing a long spell on the sidelines as he undergoes surgery on a syndesmosis injury anf fractured fibula.

Any hope of a speedy return for Nicholson - who has been a breakout player for the Raiders this year following his move from England - has been dashed with the news.

At one point, the Raiders led the game 20 points to nil, before being overrun 32 points to 20 in the second half.
