These are just some of the Canberra Raiders players the Perth Bears' "blank slate" could bring "genuine competition" for their signatures for the 2027 NRL season.

But the Green Machine would look to re-sign their players who are off-contract at the end of 2026 before they become available for other clubs to sign on November 1 - regardless of the Bears becoming the 18^th NRL team the following season.

Canberra coach Ricky Stuart warned his team against complacency after their recent win, urging humility.

In a brutal dressing room warning to his high-flying team, Canberra coach Ricky Stuart told his players last Sunday: "Don't start reading your own press."
