    The Canberra Times

Canberra Raiders coach Ricky Stuart was proud of his team after an impressive 30-20 comeback win over the Titans, but warned his NRL rivals the Green Machine are yet to play to their full potential.

Stuart said the Raiders were "their own worst enemy" in the first 25 minutes at Robina Stadium in their round seven match as they trailed 0-16, with "cheap turnovers" and "appalling" play out of their own half at times.

The coach praised the "big" impact of Tom Starling's fearless, brutal big hit on Reagan Campbell-Gillard for helping shift momentum, with better field position for the Raiders following that crucial moment.

The Titans started the game with a three try blitz in the opening quarter - first when Beau Fermor crashed over, then Jojo Fifita snagging a Tom Weaver bomb to get across the line, and finally AJ Brimson executing a perfect chip and chase to push the lead to 16 within the first 20 minutes.

But the Raiders began the fight back almost immediately, when a lovely piece of ball movement allowed Tamale to stroll over, then a short ball from Morgan Smithies allowed Hudson Young to score, and finally Jamal Fogarty turned his halves partner Ethan Strange loose to power across the line, and suddenly the game was tied at 16 all.
