    League great Paul Gallen would be "shocked" if Jamal Fogarty isn't playing for Canberra next year, and likely for the remainder of his career.

    The Raiders are locked in a tug-of-war with Manly over the veteran halfback's services after the Sea Eagles reportedly tabled an offer to the 31-year-old.

    The northern Sydney club will lose club legend Daly Cherry-Evans at season's end, and want an experienced playmaker to join for a year or two as promising playmakers Joey Walsh and Onitoni Large transition into the NRL.

    Such a mixed day for SuperCoaches. We try to make sense of it below.

    SUPERCOACH WINNERS

    * Greg Marzhew (125) - A try, try assist and incredible EIGHTEEN tackle busts. In a side that got smashed. That's SuperCoach gold.

    * Mawene Hiroti (83) - A late try on top of some very strong base and power, including eight tackle busts and 19 runs.

    * Addin Fonua-Blake (75) - And to think he was in doubt for this game. AFB was huge and scored a try.

    * Hudson Young (128) - Two tries and officially the POD of the year. The other way of looking at it is that 96% of SuperCoaches - including yours truly - have got it wrong. The only consolation...
