    NRL match review committee issues four charges for Sunday games but Gold Coast, Cronulla, Newcastle players fined.

    The NRL's match review committee have handed down four charges from Round 7s Sunday games, however, players from the Gold Coast Titans, Cronulla Sharks and Newcastle Knights will all escape with fines.

    In the early game, played out to a ten-point win for the Canberra Raiders over the Gold Coast Titans, the MRC were left with plenty of work to do after four players were placed on report by referee Adam Gee and bunker official Grant Atkins.

    He will face a $1000 fine with an early guilty plea, or $1500 if he fights and loses in the judiciary.

    Hudson Young will credit Mal Meninga for his return to the NSW Blues and Pacific Cup success.

    When Canberra second-rower Hudson Young returns to the NSW Blues side in the future, you can be sure he will thank Australia coach Mal Meninga.

    The on-fire Raiders forward, in line for a State of Origin recall, was dropped after game one of last year's Origin series after coming off the bench in the 38-10 loss to Queensland.

    His good form was recognised by Meninga, who picked him in all three Pacific Cup matches at the end of the year, including the 20-14 final win over Tonga, where Young played second-row with distinction.
