    Queensland Maroons coach Billy Slater has praised the rejuvenation of Corey Horsburgh as the Raiders prop aims to return to the Origin scene.

    Horsburgh, who fell out with coach Ricky Stuart last year before making up again, has been enormous for the Raiders in their 2-0 start o the season.

    In 2023 he made his sole Maroons appearance but his form seriously dipped and the prop was barely sighted last year.

    Bulldogs lock up veteran utility with contract extension — NRL Transfer Centre

    Bulldogs re-sign Kurt Mann until 2026, marking his 11th season in the NRL.

    The Bulldogs have locked up veteran utility Kurt Mann on a contract extension through until the end of the 2026 season.

    A veteran of eleven seasons in the NRL, Mann is the most experienced member of the Bulldogs' squad and is on track to play his 200th NRL match during the 2025 season.









    "The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are pleased to announce the re-signing of versatile forward Kurt Mann until the end of the 2026 season," the club said in a statement.

    Arriving at the Club in 2024, the 32-year-old has found a home at the Bulldogs after stints at the Melbourne Storm, St George Illawarra Dragons and Newcastle Knights throughout his career.

    Canberra players fined for fighting in Las Vegas, apologized and had some fines suspended by NRL.

    Canberra pair Hudson Young and Morgan Smithies have been fined by the NRL over their stoush in Las Vegas.

    The pair were issued with a breach notice on Monday alleging that the pair breached the NRL Code of Conduct after coming to blows in the lift of the team hotel in Sin City.

    Smithies and Young apologised in the aftermath, which helped mitigate some of the financial penalty.

    However, the pair were issued with fines, although it is understood some or all of the fines were suspended.

    "The breach notice alleges the players engaged in conduct which has brought the game and their club into disrepute," the NRL said.
