    Rapana dismisses criticism of "milking" high tackle impact, demands specificity when discussing "milk".

    Unless the word "milk" is preceded by "up" and "the", Jordan Rapana doesn't want to hear it.

    The Canberra star responded to accusations of being "dramatic" and "milking" the impact of a high tackle by Tigers utility and former Raider Aidan Sezer in the Green Machine's 32-12 victory over Wests on Saturday afternoon.

    In the second half while chasing his own kick Sezer coat-hangered Rapana with a wild tackle that left the Raiders fullback floored.

    The Match Review Committee (MRC) has charged five players from Saturday's games, headlined by Melbourne Storm star five-eighth Jarome Hughes.

    Hughes is facing a one-game suspension after being charged with a Grade 2 Contrary Conduct charge involving a match official in the 58th minute against the New Zealand Warriors.

    Canberra Raiders duo Xavier Savage and Ethan Strange were also charged but are facing fines of $1000-1500 for a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact charge and Grade 1 Careless High Tackle charge against Starford To'a and Charlie Staines, respectively.

    With their impressive start to the season, the Raiders have sent a strong message to the rest of the competition - the Green Machine are a force to be reckoned with in 2024.
