The Canberra Raiders have made some key changes to their squad ahead of their highly anticipated clash against the Brisbane Broncos.
The team has reduced their squad to 19 players in preparation for the game at GIO Stadium Canberra.
Two star players, Sebastian Kris and Jack Wighton, have successfully recovered from their hamstring injuries and are set to make a comeback.
Kris will take up the fullback position, while Wighton will be in the five-eighth position.
In the NRL's round 25 VB Hard Earned Team of the Week, the New Zealand Warriors' reliable middle forwards, Tohu Harris and Addin Fonua-Blake, once again secured their places.
According to warriors.kiwi, Harris accumulated 95 points, while Fonua-Blake earned 94 points during the Warriors' 29-22 victory over Manly Warringah on Friday night.
Outshining their opponents, the only player who surpassed their efforts was Canberra's Joseph Tapine, who earned 97 points.
Harris showcased his consistency, spending 71 minutes on the field and recording impressive statistics.
It's been the scene of most of the Canberra Raiders' heaviest defeats of the season. So much so their results at Canberra Stadium are a large reason their points differential's a shocking minus 108.
But Raiders enforcer Josh Papali'i isn't focussed on the past. He's focussed on making a statement against the Brisbane Broncos. A win against the second-placed Brisvegans will lock them into the NRL top eight and probably guarantee them a home semi-final in the process.
"That's the No.1 goal - just going out and playing well. We show in patches when we do get it together we can play some footy," Papali'i said.
