The Canberra Raiders hopes of a deep push into the NRLL finals have suffered a huge blow with Corey Horsburgh set for a stint on the sidelines.
The Match Review Committee hit Horsburgh with a grade one shoulder charge, and offered him three weeks on the sidelines for a hit on Corey Jensen in the last minute of the Raiders 29-18 loss to the Broncos in Canberra.
In the Broncos last set of six for the night, Horsburgh rushed out of the Raiders line to put the hit on Jensen.
In a disappointing turn of events for the Canberra Raiders, three of their players have been charged by the NRL Match Review committee following their loss to the Brisbane Broncos at GIO Stadium Canberra last night.
According to a report on the Raiders' official website, Corey Horsburgh has been charged with a grade one shoulder charge on Corey Jensen.
This is Horsburgh's third and subsequent offense, which means he is facing a three-match suspension if he pleads guilty early or a four-match suspension if he decides to fight the charge and loses.
Another player facing disciplinary action is Jordan Rapana, who has been charged with a grade one dangerous contact (tripping) on Selwyn Cobbo.

The incident came in the 79th minute of Canberra's 29-18 loss to the Broncos, with Horsburgh pinged for a grade one shoulder charge by the NRL's match review committee on Sunday morning.
He was not penalised at the time, but Horsburgh will now be sidelined for three weeks with a guilty plea or four weeks if he fights the charge and loses.
A three-week suspension would rule him out until the preliminary finals - should the Raiders make it to that stage.
