With 305 NRL games under his belt, the Green Machine great felt the time was right to end his glittering career.
The draw of getting to the 300-game milestone had been pulling the 32-year-old along.
Raiders legend Jarrod Croker has reportedly called time on an illustrious career, informing his teammates on Thursday the 2023 season will be his last.
Croker will reportedly return from a hamstring injury against the Bulldogs in Round 25 before his final home clash against the Broncos the following week.
That is according to The Daily Telegraph, who are reporting Croker wanted to keep the news quiet so the Canberra side could focus on their clash against the Storm.
The 32-year-old has played 305 games for his beloved Raiders across 15 seasons, scoring 135 tries.
In a recent update from melbournestorm.com.au, it has been reported that Reimis Smith will be making his return to the Storm side.
This comes as a replacement for Will Warbrick, who unfortunately will not be able to participate in the Sunday afternoon matchup against the Raiders due to neck soreness.
To strengthen their lineup, Bronson Garlick and Eli Katoa have been included in the Storm run-on side.
