The Canberra Raiders have assured fans the squad is safe after a shooting in Auckland near the team hotel on Thursday morning.
Three people - including a gunman - were killed, and six others injured after a shooting in Auckland's CBD around 7am.
The incident which occurred at a construction site on Queen Street, was just a few hundred metres from the hotel the Raiders were staying ahead of their game on Friday night against the New Zealand Warriors.
