We love the mighty Canberra Raiders
In a thrilling match against the Roosters in Sydney, the Canberra Raiders emerged victorious with a nail-biting score of 20-18, as reported by raiders.com.au.
The key to their success was Jamal Fogarty's exceptional kicking game, which proved too difficult for the Roosters to handle.
Right from the start, Fogarty gave the Raiders an advantage by delivering a lethal bomb that rookie Roosters winger Junior Pauga struggled to catch.
For 39 minutes, it didn't just rain on the Roosters.
Despite a clear, crisp winter's night, the proverbial poured down on the Tricolours and their skipper James Tedesco, their umbrella cartwheeling down Driver Avenue all the while.
Canberra's Jamal Fogarty spent his summer honing an already impressive kicking game alongside Ricky Stuart, and the first 30 minutes of an 20-18 win torturing the Australian, NSW and Roosters skipper with his aerial assault on Sunday night.
Tedesco eventually came good beneath the high ball - he is one of the best fullbacks the game has seen after all.
Not for the first time this year, points from Jarrod Croker's boot got the Canberra Raiders home in a thriller.
Croker's four goals edged the Green Machine home 20-18 against the Sydney Roosters at Sydney Football Stadium on Sunday night.
The win takes them within two points of top spot and in the perfect position to make a charge towards the finals.
