NRL Tackle: Ethan Strange’s toughness defined by a smile in season’s most violent moment

Ethan Strange smiled after a big tackle, showcasing his love for physicality and contact.

    The Daily Telegraph

You couldn't wipe the smile off Ethan Strange's face on Saturday, and no it wasn't because Canberra had just sealed the minor premiership.

Strange was on the receiving end of the biggest bone crunching tackle of the year.

Siblings Ethan and Jasmin Strange, and father John, chasing rugby league domination with Roosters, Raiders titles

The Strange family excels in rugby: Roosters and Raiders lead, aiming for dual titles in October.

    The Australian

The Strange family are sitting on top of the rugby league world.

Roosters NRLW coach John and his daughter Jasmin are leading the charge in the women's game, while Ethan and his Raiders are sitting on top of the NRL ladder.

Both sides also happen to have a two-point buffer in the race to the minor premiership but the real prize is dual titles in the first weekend of October.

A win for Canberra against Penrith on Friday night in Mudgee will edge the Raiders one step closer to becoming minor premiers for the first time since 1990.
