Eels win 46-14 against Bulldogs, awaiting Raiders' result to secure NRLW finals spot.

The Eels kept their finals hopes alive with a thumping 46-14 win over the Bulldogs in the final round of the NRLW season on Friday night.

Parramatta will now nervously watch Saturday's clash between the Gold Coast and Canberra and hope the Green Machine can spring an upset.

A Raiders victory will ensure the Eels play finals and they'll face either the Cowboys or Knights in a knockout clash next weekend.

Canterbury struck first at CommBank Stadium when their leading try-scorer Elizabeth MacGregor crossed out wide thanks to a pinpoint cut-out pass from No. 6 Ashleigh Quinlan.

Tarryn Aiken proved the difference as the Roosters continued their perfect start to 2025 by defeating Canberra 26-14 at Allianz Stadium on Friday night.

Needing a win to keep their slim finals hopes alive, the Raiders took the game to their more fancied opponents and were coming home with a wet sail when Elise Simpson's try made it 20-14 with seven minutes remaining.

Enter Aiken, who scored the matchwinning try five minutes later when she darted through the heart of the Raiders' defence to touch down under the sticks. It was the perfect ending for the Jillaroos star, who had already set up three tries before grabbing one herself.

Ethan Strange smiled after a big tackle, showcasing his love for physicality and contact.

You couldn't wipe the smile off Ethan Strange's face on Saturday, and no it wasn't because Canberra had just sealed the minor premiership.

Strange was on the receiving end of the biggest bone crunching tackle of the year.
