Wests Tigers' Adam Doueihi meets coach Benji Marshall about his future; training resumption confirmed after positive discussions.

Peace talks between Wests Tigers star Adam Doueihi and coach Benji Marshall are done and dusted, with Tigers officials expected to address the playmaker's future later on Monday.

Doueihi was driven away from the meeting - which lasted less than an hour - by his agent Isaac Moses.

It is understood Marshall and chief executive Shaun Mielekamp were involved in discussions over Doueihi's future at the club given his decision to miss their game against Canberra at the weekend because he wasn't in the right head space to play.

"Adam, Pat Richards, Benji, and I had a positive meeting this morning," Mielekamp said.

"Adam will be at training tomorrow."

Cronulla have benefited from a bizarre disallowed try en route to claiming a 22-10 victory over Canberra and get their NRLW season up and running.

The Sharks entered GIO Stadium on Saturday needing to snap their three-game losing start to the season without inspirational captain Tiana Penitani Gray (quad).

But they shook off their losses by running in four tries to two, while also being the beneficiaries of a rogue ponytail.
