Sonny Bill Williams appears to have a couple of prerequisites for his boxing opponents – they have to be in their 40s and former foes of Paul Gallen.
The retired NRL star is reportedly lining up his next fight against 48-year-old former UFC heavyweight contender Mark Hunt,
who lost a six-rounder to Gallen on points in 2020
.
The Daily Telegraph’s Buzz Rothfield broke the news on Saturday night, reporting Williams had been forced to take the fight after negotiations for a long-awaited bout against Gallen “fell over”.
