Starling looking to fight fire with fire against the Sharks

The Raiders aim to "bounce back" against the Sharks, facing dangerous players and tough competition.

The Canberra Raiders are ready to "bounce back" in their match-up against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks at home this weekend, says hooker Tom Starling.

Starling told CD the Sharks have built momentum with a string of recent wins heading into the back end of the regular season.

He said the opposition players to look out for this weekend are Nicho Hynes and Braydon Trindall in the halves, who Starling described as "pretty dangerous".

And Sharks hooker Blayke Brailey - who leads the NRL in tackles in 2025 with 1,108 at 94.7 per cent efficiency - with Starling ranked eighth with 890 tackles at 91.6 per cent efficiency.
