Horsburgh requests release from Raiders contract due to strained relationship with coach Stuart.
Corey Horsburgh has asked for a release from the final three years of his Canberra Raiders contract due to a "breakdown in the relationship" with coach Ricky Stuart.
It's hoped the situation can be saved, with Horsburgh's manager Jeff Jurotte and Raiders chief executive Don Furner working through the issue with more expected to be known early next week.
At this stage Horsburgh hasn't spoken to any other clubs, but put in a release request last week to leave at the end of the season.
