    The Goulburn City Bulldogs return home this weekend for a contest against the Tuggeranong Bushrangers. 

    The Bulldogs are coming off a 36 point loss against the Rams away from home and will be looking to collect their first win of the season in front of their home fans. 

    Similarly, the Bushrangers enter round four off a comprehensive loss to the Warriors at home.

    Representative Rugby League is just around the corner, with the Blumers Lawyers George Tooke Shield teams set to play Woodbridge Cup representative outfits on Saturday, May 10.

    With only two more rounds remaining before the much-anticipated tackle and league tag matchups, positions on both GTS teams will be on the line this coming Saturday.

    It is a huge Round Three of the competition, which could be coined rivalry round.

    In an early-season top-of-the-table clash, Binalong and Bungendore do battle at Binalong Recreation Oval.

    At the same time, Boorowa and Crookwell will play in their 2023 GTS Grand Final rematch at Boorowa Showground.

    The Cootamundra Bulldogs have hit the ground running in 2024, winning their opening two games of the Blumers Lawyers George Tooke Shield.

    Led by new coach and club stalwart David Buttriss, the Doggies made a statement in Round One when travelling to Canberra and defeating the UC Stars 52-14 at Raiders Belconnen.

    In their most significant result in recent seasons, Cootamundra signaled their intent, dismantling Grand Finalists Crookwell 32-nil at Les Boyd Oval on Saturday.

    Returning home, Jacob Maher was a standout in the playmaking role, and he crossed for a double, while Joe Ward, James Patterson, and Jordyn Ballard scored in the dominant victory.
