    The West Belconnen Warriors didn't show any signs of cobwebs in their first game of the 2024 Blumers Lawyers Katrina Fanning Shield.

    West Belconnen have picked up from where they left off last year, kick starting their title defence season with a strong win against the Bushrangers at Greenway Oval.

    Canberra Raiders Cup: Round Three Wrap

    Canberra Raiders Cup round three dominated by Woden Valley Ram's clinic performance over Goulburn Bulldogs.

    Round three of the Canberra Raiders Cup saw Woden put on a clinic in the Match of the Round, along with three tight battles around the grounds.

    The Rams put on a clinic in front of a home crowd on Sunday against the Bulldogs in a one-sided affair.

    Despite Goulburn hitting the score board first, the Rams flipped the switch and went onto score 11 consecutive tries, including a hat-trick from halfback Brendan Jimenez who has made the code switch from Rugby Union to League look easy. 

    After two dominant wins, the Rams have put a target on their heads as the team to beat this year.

    The Woden Valley Rams have claimed a dominant 58-18 victory over the Goulburn City Bulldogs at Phillip Oval.

    The Woden Valley Rams were riding high on confidence after claiming a demanding 30-6 victory against last year's grand finalists, the Tuggeranong Bushrangers, last weekend.

    Despite wanting to bounce back after a loss to Yass last week, Goulburn couldn't contain the Rams as the home side crossed for a whopping 11 tries to Goulburn's three. 

    The opening seven minutes of play consisted of heavy possession by Goulburn, with the Rams yet to touch the ball.
