    West Belconnen record demolition win in Katrina Fanning Shield Grand Final

    West Belconnen Warriors won the Katrina Fanning Shield, defeating Belconnen 40-6 with dominant performances.

    The West Belconnen Warriors have claimed their second Katrina Fanning Shield trophy with a dominant 40-6 showing at Seiffert Oval on Saturday afternoon.

    It was a dominant showing from the West Belconnen Warriors, who took every opportunity close to the line, with Liyah Lomas and Gabriella Savage both scoring four tries to lead their side to a monstrous win against their Belconnen rivals.

    The Belconnen United Sharks struck with the first opportunity to score, being awarded a penalty close to the line.

    Some strong defence from the West Belconnen Warriors sees them defend their line to keep the Sharks at bay.
