    The Harden Hawkettes locked in their place on the big stage after a commanding 24-0 over the minor premiers; the North Canberra Bears two weeks ago, and have enjoyed a week off before this weekend's grand final.

    After two long years, the Gungahlin Bulls claimed victory in the Ladies League Tag Grand Final with a gritty display against the Woden Valley Rams. 

    In an end-to-end contest, it was the Bulls who won the moments in the decider, with a try right on the stroke of half-time to Ashley Preston putting them in front at the break.

    Bulls claim victory over Yass in extra time thriller

    Gungahlin Bulls won 14-4 against Yass Magpies in a tough Reserve Grade Grand Final.

    The Gungahlin Bulls have claimed a 14-4 win over the Yass Magpies in a hard-fought Reserve Grade Grand Final.

    With the score locked up at fulltime, the game went into extra time, where the Bulls added eight more points to secure a grand final redemption win.

    The game opened with both teams trading sets for the first ten minutes, with solid defence on both sides preventing any scoring opportunities.

    The Bulls struggled to make ground, stuck inside Yass' red zone as penalties plagued their game. A high tackle eventually handed them possession, allowing them to work their way back to the 20.
