‘Don’t talk to me’: Why Croker refused to engage in 300th game plans

Canberra captain Jarrod Croker point-blank refused to discuss plans to sit out a week of NRL, with Raiders officials fearing he would jinx his 300th game milestone.

Canberra are intending to rest Croker against Wests Tigers on Friday night so he can play his milestone game at home next week against the Warriors, regardless of injury verdicts still to come on outside backs Sebastian Kris (knee) and Jordan Rapana (concussion protocols).

Corey Harawira-Naera is expected to miss at least a month as he awaits specialist diagnosis after suffering an on-field seizure at the weekend, with doctors now able to pinpoint a build-up of smaller head...
