The Warriors will resist the urge to host the biggest rugby league game in the country for more than a decade at Eden Park, opting to stay at their traditional home as they try to keep their fairytale season alive.
Playing their first final in New Zealand since 2008, the Warriors will remain at Go Media Stadium for the sudden death clash against the Knights, who won an extra-time thriller against the Raiders on Sunday.
The NRL had considered having the match played at the bigger Eden Park, which can hold up to 50,000 fans, amid a groundswell of support for the NRL's surprise packets of 2023.
