Aarav Bhandari, 12, joins Melbourne Victory's A-League Academy, moving to Victoria to pursue his soccer dream after being scouted.
Is this the next Tom Rogic? Aarav Bhandari is set to move to Victoria to play with Melbourne Victory's A-League Academy squad, after the 12-year-old was scouted by the club through the Lustica Football Academy's Canberra squad.
The Calwell High School student who has been playing since he was only four years old will finish his studies this year and then relocate with his family to Victoria to chase his soccer dream.
"I'm pretty excited," Bhandari said. "I'm really grateful my family will move with me. I want to first make it to the A-League, and then hopefully I can reach higher and higher, make it to Europe, and one day the Socceroos."
