Isabelle Kelly, the captain of the Westpac NSW Blues Women's team, has expressed her excitement about leading the team in the upcoming Ampol State of Origin match.
She has previously shared the captaincy with Kezie Apps, the most capped player for the team.
Kelly is looking forward to taking on the role of sole captain next week at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium.
