Sea Eagles prop Taniela Paseka has recently undergone surgery for a ruptured Achilles tendon that he suffered during a game against the Raiders.

The 27-year-old is expected to be out for 16-20 weeks, with hopes to return in Round 25 of the NRL season.

According to seaeagles.com.au, Paseka is determined to make a comeback later this season.

The Sea Eagles are set to face the Parramatta Eels in Round 4 this Sunday, and Paseka's absence will be felt on the field.
