NRL breaches by Raiders duo in Vegas lead to fines, no game bans issued. Club moves on.
The Canberra Raiders learned what happens in Vegas doesn't necessarily stay in Vegas as the NRL issued a breach notice to a star duo.
Forwards Morgan Smithies and Hudson Young were both dealt a breach notice with the league "alleging a breach of the NRL code of conduct" over their embarrassing scuffle in Vegas.
It's understood both players have each accepted a 12-month suspended $2500 fine, with no game bans. The Raiders board are not expected to take any further action against Smithies and Young, with the players and club eager to move on from the incident.
