    Raiders go down to Roosters at home

    The Storm edged out the Knights 32-30 in a thrilling match at AAMI Park.

    The Storm made it four from five when they were able to hold on against the resurgent Knights arrive at AAMI Park on Friday night.

    After collecting the wooden spoon last year, the Knights have turned the corner big time under new coach Justin Holbrook.

    In a seesawing game with plenty of feeling, the two sides went tit-for-tat and toe-to-toe in an entertaining game, with the home side just able to hold on 32-30, despite having the best of the possession for most the game. 

    Knights also were struck a blow in the opening moments of the match, with hooker Phoenix Crossland assisted from the field after a heavy head knock.

    NSW Cup & Jersey Flegg: Round 13 Wrap

    The Raiders dominated the Dragons 44-16; Jersey Flegg lost 26-20. Both teams have a bye.

    The Toyota Forklifts Canberra Raiders NSW Cup side recorded a dominant win at home on Sunday afternoon, leading the Dragons 40-nil at halftime.

    Meanwhile, the Jersey Flegg side suffered a 26-20 defeat as both grades have the bye this weekend.

     The Raiders played their best half of football all season as they blew the Dragons off the park with an astonishing 40-nil lead at the break.

    The Saints had no response as eight different try scorers crossed the line for the Green Machine, along with Coby Black's 6/8 conversion rate to defeat the visitors 44-16.

    Raiders bag strong win in Hudson Young's 150th match

    The Canberra Raiders won 26-12 against the Cowboys in Hudson Young's 150th NRL match.

    The Toyota Forklifts Canberra Raiders have earnt their fifth win of the season, defeating the North Queensland Cowboys 26-12 in Hudson Young's 150th NRL appearance.

    Raiders fans were off their seats within minutes, after Matt Timoko had appeared to score after their first set of the game following a drop ball from the Cowboys back three.

    However, after being referred to the Bunker for further inspection, officials found that Savelio Tamale had committed foul play during the kick contest.

    With the Cowboys right on the attack following the decision, Canberra rallied together to turn the Cowboys away on back-to-back sets.

    Both teams proceeded to settle into a back-and-forth brand of footy, as attacking field position was at a premium.
