'Snapped off inside his leg': the injuries the Raiders' latest debutant has overcome
Vena Patuki-Case suffered multiple injuries, including a Lisfranc fracture, sidelining him for nearly two years.

Not only did Vena Patuki-Case break his leg, but then he broke the metal plate that was put in to help fix his leg.
But the leg wasn't the worst of it.
First, he suffered a dreaded Lisfranc fracture in his first game for the Canberra Raiders - playing in the under-19 SG Ball Cup having been recruited from the Sydney Roosters.
For almost two years, he sat on the sidelines just trying to get back on the field from those injuries.

The Green Machine sides are fresh off a bye and ready for action as both teams search for a place in the top eight.

The Canberra Raiders Jersey Flegg squad will kick off the afternoon at 12pm against the Eels in a tight matchup between the sides for.

The Raiders are sitting in ninth on the ladder after three straight losses and are on the hunt for a place in the top eight.
Their last match-up saw the Canberra side fall to the Dragons 26-20 at home in round 13. Now fresh off a bye, the squad is rested and ready to bounce back and perform against the sixth-place Eels.

Queensland Under 19 men's coach Darius Boyd names 20-player squad for representative clash, building on last year's success.

Queensland Under 19 men's coach Darius Boyd has named a 20-player squad ahead of this year's representative clash, with players selected from some of the strongest pathway programs in the country.
Boyd will once again be joined by assistant coaches Andrew McCullough and Jesse Maclean as the coaching staff look to build on last year's successful campaign, which saw Queensland claim victory at Under 19 level.

The squad features a strong blend of talent from the Mal Meninga Cup and NRL systems, bringing together some of the state's most exciting emerging players.
