Despite limited appearances in the NRL, Roddy has demonstrated significant potential to become a standout forward in the capital, evident from his debut last year where he scored two tries coming off the bench.
With his existing contract set to conclude at the end of 2027, the Raiders acted swiftly to prevent him from entering the market in November, ensuring his long-term commitment to the club.
Roddy's junior career began in Tumut, a region within the Raiders' junior pathways, illustrating the effectiveness of their development system.
