    Jamal Fogarty scored midway through the second half, giving the Raiders a six-point lead with 18 minutes remaining.

    Despite spending most of the match inside the Raiders' 20, the Warriors struggled to score.

    In a crucial moment with under two minutes left, Raiders players Corey Horsburgh and Morgan Smithies executed a vital tackle on Marata Niukore, successfully holding him up over the line.

    Canberra Raiders hooker Tom Starling is at risk of missing one NRL game after being slapped with a suspension for a high shot on Chanel Harris-Tavita in the Green Machine's 16-10 win over the New Zealand Warriors on Sunday.

    On Monday morning the NRL match review committee delivered a grade two dangerous contact charge to Starling which could see him serve a one-match ban with an early plea.

    Starling's tackle on the Warriors five-eighth was penalised in the game for being late and high, and also landed the hooker in the sin bin at a crucial moment at Mount Smart Stadium.
