    Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad was happy to play tour guide for the New Zealand Warriors in a Canberra return that left him with mixed feelings.

    The best barber? A top coffee shop? The Nike store? Nicoll-Klokstad had his teammates covered before New Zealand's 36-14 win over the Raiders.

    "This game was circled during the pre-season and I was really excited to get here," he said at Canberra Stadium.

    Jarrod Croker's 300th game was spoiled as his Canberra Raiders suffered a 36-14 loss in a masterful performance by the New Zealand Warriors, which included one of the tries of the year.


    Riding on emotion, the Raiders had all the territory in the early stages but were turned away by the Warriors' resolute defence.

    With the Raiders leading 6-0 in the 32nd minute, the Warriors then flipped the script.

    On the last tackle 10m out, the Warriors went to the right with Shaun Johnson kicking for Dallin Watene-Zelezniak.

  • Judiciary on high alert after Wighton and Hopoate charges

    The NRL Match Review Committee has charged Jack Wighton and Albert Hopoate from the Canberra Raiders following their loss to the Warriors.

    Hopoate received a grade one contrary conduct charge from an incident in the 10th minute of the match.

    However, if he takes an early guilty plea, he will only have to pay a $1,000 fine.
