We love the mighty Canberra Raiders
The raiders.com.au website has reported that Jamal Fogarty and Jack Wighton, the only Indigenous halves pairing in the NRL, share a love for three things - footy, culture, and family.
The duo is also passionate about the future of Indigenous people in Australia, especially the children with their respective partners.
Both players have four girls and a boy under the age of 10 between them.
It's not just South Sydney that has a proud Indigenous history - the Canberra Raiders' inaugural captain David Grant was a proud Indigenous man after all.
So it shouldn't be surprising the Green Machine's Indigenous jersey is on the verge of selling out.
Raiders chief executive Don Furner felt that could happen this weekend, when they take on Manly at Canberra Stadium on Sunday as part of Indigenous Round.
Josh Papalii is the second Canberra Raiders star to announce his State of Origin retirement after informing Queensland coach Billy Slater he has decided to call time on his glittering Maroons career.
The 31-year-old wrecking ball has been a mainstay of the Queensland team, playing 23 matches for his state since making his debut for them in 2013.
