The Raiders are helping winger Savelio Tamale improve by having AFL star Tom Green assist with catching techniques.
The Canberra Raiders coaching staff have turned to a rival code to help struggling winger Savelio Tamale.
The youngster was dropped to NSW Cup this weekend to try and regain some confidence after a few shaky performances in the NRL, especially when needed to defuse bombs.
Raiders coach Ricky Stuart and the rest of the squad are confident Tamale can get back to his best soon, and time away from the NRL spotlight will help that mission.
But the club has also turned to Raiders supporter and GWS Giants star Tom Green to provide some additional assistance by working one-on-one with Tamale on catching - or marks as they'd be known in the AFL.
