    Josh Papalii has conceded this season will be his last with Canberra, as the prop prepares to overtake Jason Croker and break the games record for the Raiders.

    Papalii will overtake Croker as the Raiders' most-capped player on Sunday, when he runs out against South Sydney at GIO Stadium.

    At age 33, the former Queensland State of Origin prop is not ready to walk away from rugby league and wants to play on into 2026.

    The Canberra Raiders are keeping Ethan Sanders sharp and on standby for a possible late call-up at halfback with Jamal Fogarty still tentative to play this Sunday afternoon against the Rabbitohs.

    Sanders trained in full on Wednesday while Fogarty only had a very light session, after missing the round 13 Roosters game with a groin issue.

    With a much-needed bye following the Raiders' upcoming blockbuster against South Sydney, it was a surprise to many Green Machine fans to see Fogarty named at No.7 when the team lists were revealed.
