The Bulldogs pursuit of Wests Tigers free agent Lachlan Galvin can be traced back to the first half of a game in Canberra two weeks ago.
Halfbacks wear the performance more than any other player on a footy field.
Which might seem unfair to Canterbury playmaker Toby Sexton, after the Bulldogs climbed off the canvas, from 20-0 nil down against the Raiders, to produce one their greatest comeback wins by piling on 32 unanswered points.

Corey Horsburgh has matured as a leader, accepting his Origin snub without frustration this season.

By his own admission Corey Horsburgh has been known to let his emotions get the better of him at times in footy.
The Raiders prop would be well within his rights to feel frustrated about being left out of the Queensland squad for game one of State of Origin after the season he's had so far, but the 2025 version of Horsburgh is different.
There's been a lot of growth within "Big Red" this season as a leader in the Canberra Raiders squad, and he hasn't let the Origin snub get him down.

Canberra Raiders' Kaeo Weekes will have hometown support from Kaeo during NRL clash against Warriors.

An away trip to New Zealand and a crowd full of Warriors fans cheering "Up the Wahs" won't feel so daunting for Canberra Raiders fullback Kaeo Weekes on Sunday.
That's because when the Raiders kick off their round 12 NRL clash against the Warriors, Weekes will have a whole town getting right behind him in Auckland.
Kaeo is a small township of approximately 300 people at the very top of North Island, and rolling down the highway on a nearly four-hour drive to Mount Smart Stadium will be friends and family of Raiders star, Weekes.
