Want-away prop Corey Horsburgh may have another chance to prove his worth at Canberra, with coach Ricky Stuart claiming the former Queensland State of Origin representative still has a job to do.

Horsburgh has this year failed to match the lofty heights of his impressive past two seasons.

The Raiders enforcer has made just two NRL appearances off the bench in an injury-disrupted 2024, with the majority of his football limited to reserve grade.

Tapine believes tough run home against top teams will prepare Raiders for finals success.

It might be tough, but Joe Tapine says that makes their run home the perfect preparation for finals - provided they get there.

And the Canberra Raiders enforcer felt their effort against Canterbury, while they didn't win, gave them confidence they could force their way into the top eight.

All of the Green Machine's remaining five games are against top-eight sides - starting with seventh-placed Manly at Canberra Stadium on Saturday.

Canberra Raiders allow Danny Levi to seek new team after Corey Horsburgh also negotiated exit.

The Canberra Raiders, fresh off agreeing to let Corey Horsburgh negotiate his future away from the nation's capital, have now also reportedly agreed to let dummy half Danny Levi look for a fresh start.

Levi has been with the Raiders since the start of the 2024 season, managing just four games last year.

Before joining the Raiders, Levi spent time at the Newcastle Knights, Manly Sea Eagles and Brisbane Broncos, as well as the Huddersfield Giants in England during the 2022 season. He now has 163 top-tier appearances under his belt, with 133 of those in the NRL.
