    They lifted to win for the Canberra Raiders 1994 premiership heroes. Now they need to lift to win for one of their own.

    Raiders enforcer Joe Tapine will play his 200th NRL game - against the Sydney Roosters at Canberra Stadium on Saturday.

    The 30-year-old will not only be playing for himself, his teammates and the Green Machine, but his family as well - given it's Indigenous round and the New Zealand international's wife Kirsten and daughter Ilua are both Indigenous.

    A NSW man was arrested during the NRL Magic Round in Brisbane for allegedly possessing cocaine, prompting a corporate suite to be evacuated.

    Queensland police are investigating after the man was allegedly found with cocaine in a private suite in Suncorp Stadium in the final minutes of the clash between the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and Canberra Raiders.
