    Josh Papali'i faces one or two game ban for dangerous tackle in Canberra Raiders' win.

    Canberra Raiders enforcer Josh Papali'i faces a ban for a hip drop tackle during his side's Magic Round victory over the Bulldogs in Brisbane.

    Papali'i was sin-binned and placed on report in the 39th minute after the tackle left Bulldogs forward Viliame Kikau with an ankle injury, forcing him from the field.

    The Canberra star faces a one match ban for a grade two dangerous contact charge, but faces a two game ban if he fights the charge and loses.

    Hudson Young has made a last-minute case for a State of Origin recall, helping Canberra survive two sin-bins to defeat Canterbury 24-20 in a chaotic start to Magic Round.

    There were costly errors, an injury scare and bombed tries aplenty at Suncorp Stadium, but when Jordan Rapana and Josh Papalii went to the sin bin within minutes of each other on Friday night, the Bulldogs appeared ready to pounce on the 11-man Raiders.
