    The Canberra Raiders have pulled off one of the club's great victories, bouncing back from a 20-0 deficit after 28 minutes to pull off a famous 26-24 win.

    Having handed the Sea Eagles the hefty start just five days after being annihilated 40-0 by Cronulla, Canberra coach Ricky Stuart could have been forgiven for wanting to jump in the car and head back down the Federal Highway.

    But at full-time, the relief was clear from Stuart in the coach's box as he hugged his assistants in the box.

    But Stuart, as he revealed in his post-game press conference, never lost faith.

    That is according to coach Ricky Stuart, who called it "one hell of a win," just five days after their were humiliated 40-nil by the Sharks.

    Canberra were down 20-0 half an hour into the game at 4 Pines Park and it looked like the floodgates were about to open.

    No-one does an ambush like the Canberra Raiders.

    The Green Machine pulled off one of their greatest, and most unlikely of comebacks against the Manly Sea Eagles, winning 26-24 in a round nine NRL encounter that was the definition of a Friday night thriller.

    A week after being thrashed 40-0 on their home turf, the Raiders travelled to Brookvale and were down 20-0 after 28 minutes and 24-6 after 50 minutes against a top-four side. But they fought back and came away with a stunning upset.

    "What we performed last week wasn't us. We had to show what our real DNA was and that was one hell of a win," coach Ricky Stuart said in his press conference.
