Ricky Stuart defended his young players after a tough night in the 34-10 loss to the Broncos and revealed the Raiders are rebuilding their club around youth.

Chevy Stewart had a tough first half against the Broncos as the young Raiders side found themselves down 28-0, but they fought back to win the second half 10-6.

Stuart was proud of his players, especially the younger members of the side for fighting back after such a tough first 40 minutes.
