We love the mighty Canberra Raiders
Moeaki Fotuaika, the rising star of the Queensland Maroons, has a unique rugby league journey that began at the Greenbank Raiders and later led him to the Logan Brothers.
These two junior rugby league clubs played a crucial role in shaping Fotuaika's career and instilling in him a deep passion for the sport.
At Greenbank Raiders, Fotuaika honed his skills from a tender age until he turned 12, gaining valuable experience and knowledge under the guidance of his coaches.
Canberra Raiders star Xavier Savage has been encouraged to stay ready and keep challenging the NRL starters in front of him as he battles to break back into the lineup.
Savage started pre-season as the top choice fullback, until a broken jaw hampered his plans.
He could only watch on as usual centre Sebastian Kris went from stand-in fullback to filling the role full-time, growing with confidence in each game.
The Canberra Raiders want to avoid the Ben Hunt rumour mill unless the unhappy St George Illawarra Dragons halfback is genuine about his desire to seek a new start at another club outside of Queensland.
Hunt appears determined to leave the club with two-and-a-half years remaining on his NRL contract, despite the Dragons' best efforts to keep him against his will, denying his management's release request on Sunday.
Green Machine supporters are eager to see the Raiders throw their hat in the ring to fight for Hunt's signature should he depart the club.
