    Canberra Raiders Club

Official squads, team lists and schedule for all Round 2 matches of the 2026 Women's Rugby League World Cup.

Note: The Women's World Cup will be played under the same rules as the NRLW competition, with four players on the interchange and an 18th player.

Samoa: Captain Evania Isa'ako will step into the No.6 jumper in place of Taliah Fuimaono, with Leilani Wilson moving into the second row and Tavarna Papalii to start at lock as a result of the reshuffle. Tyra Ekepati starts at centre after Sarina Masaga suffered a tournament-ending Achilles injury in last week's loss to the Jillaroos. Jetaya Faifua and Christabelle Onesemo are the two new faces on the interchange.

Wales: Welsh coach Thomas Brindle has rejigged his backline for Friday's clash with Samoa. Amberley Ruck replaces Ffion Lewis at five-eighth and Zoe Heeley moves from centre to the wing. Jade Mullen is the new face in the centres, while Sian Williams has also come on to the wing. Last week's wingers Dani McGifford and Frances Layton drop out of the side, with Layton named in the reserves. The starting pack is unchanged but there is one change in the interchange. Gracie Hobbs comes on to the bench, with Katie Carr reverting to 18th player.

Fiji: Just one change to the side that nearly upset New Zealand last week, with Nanise Vakacavu shifting from the bench to the starting lineup. While she will start in the backrow, Vakacavu will still wear the No.17 jumper as she replaces the injured Tamika Jones (shoulder). Ema Masi is the 18th player in jumper No.12. Naomi Tegu comes on to the interchange after acting as 18th player last week.

PNG: Only the one change for the Orchids after last week's victory over France, with Venessa Nakas to start in the back row in place of Belinda Gwasamun, who shifts to the reserves. Prop Elsie Albert will again captain the side, while Fleur Ginn and Cynthiah Peters will link up in the halves.

Australia: Dragons recruit Makenzie Weale and former sevens star Sariah Paki are in line for Test debuts after being named on the interchange for Saturday night's clash with England. Coach Jess Skinner has made a handful of changes to the side that defeated Samoa last week, with Abbi Church coming in on the wing and Julia Robinson shifting to centre. Jess Sergis has been rested. Tiana Penitani Gray will line up in the back row with Kezie Apps rested, while Quincy Dodd has also come on to the bench.

England: Coach Stuart Barrow has made a shock selection call at halfback, calling in 19-year-old Jenna Foubister to wear the No.7 jumper and partner Isabel Rowe in the halves. Foubister was named Woman of Steel after a standout year in the Super League and came off the bench in last week's win over Wales. Georgia Roche shifts to the interchange as a result. Molly Jones has been named to replace Georgia Wilson in the centres while Liv Wood steps in at prop in place of Mary Coleman. Lucie Sams is the new face on the interchange.

New Zealand: Coach Ricky Henry has shaken up his halves after last week's tight win over Fiji, with Chantay Kiria-Ratu to make her first appearance for New Zealand and Zahara Temara shifting to the reserves. Tenika Willison replaces Leianne Tufuga on the wing, while there have also been a host of changes to the forward pack. Alexis Tauaneai and Ivana Lauitiiti will start at prop after coming off the bench last week and Brooke Anderson comes into start at lock. Shannon Mato reverts to the interchange, with Trinity Tauaneai and Shaniece Monschau the two new faces on the bench.

France: Perle Ramazeilles has shifted from the wing to centre, with Haoua Kessely named on the wing after being a late withdrawal last week. Amael Vilanove reverts to the reserves as a result. Changes up front as well for the French, with Leila Bessahli shifting from lock to prop and Fanny Ramos moving from the interchange to start at hooker. Justine Roses has been named at lock after acting as 18th player last week. Noemie Samuel and Elodie Pacull are the new faces on the bench.

Jillaroos rookie Jocelyn Kelleher is set to make her international debut after being named to partner Tarryn Aiken in the halves for Friday's showdown with Fetu Samoa.

The selection comes after the pair led the Roosters to the NRLW premiership, with Australia coach Jess Skinner backing Kelleher and Aiken to continue their successful club partnership in the IRL Rugby League World Cup.

The prime-time clash at CommBank Stadium will also see Jaime Chapman make her long-awaited return to the Test arena, while Shaylee Bent will play her first match for the Jillaroos since the 2022 World Cup.

New Zealand coach Ricky Henry has also named a talent-laden squad for his side's clash with Fiji on Sunday afternoon.

Former Jillaroos Zahara Temara and Shannon Mato will make their Kiwi Ferns debuts, while Olympic gold medallist Stacey Waaka is also set for her maiden international rugby league appearance on the wing.

Temara will partner Dally M Halfback of the Year Raecene McGregor in the halves for New Zealand, with Georgia Hale to start at hooker.

Kangaroos coach Kevin Walters has gone with Ashes hero Reece Walsh over reigning Clive Churchill Medalist James Tedesco in the coveted No.1 jersey for Australia's blockbuster World Cup opener against the Kiwis.

Walsh's last game was on August 15 against the Warriors when he suffered a syndesmosis injury that looked set to end his season.

The Roosters marched on to premiership glory and Tedesco came to the fore with a magnificent grand final display but Walsh has been given the nod in a backline that includes Test debutant Jack Bostock on one wing and Tom Trbojevic on the other.

Mitch Moses has beaten Sam Walker to the halfback role while Jacob Preston makes his international debut in the back row with David Fifita set for his Kangaroos debut off the interchange after previously representing Tonga at the 2022 World Cup.

The Kiwis, meanwhile, have Knights superstars Kalyn Ponga and Dane Gagai pulling on the black jersey for the first time in a backline that also features Jahrome Hughes at halfback in his first Test since 2023 and Dolphins livewire Kodi Nikorima at five-eighth.

James Fisher-Harris captains the side and leads a formidable forward pack that includes Joseph Tapine in his 26th Test match and powerhouse Rooster Naufahu Whyte in his seventh Test.

Wests Tigers skipper Api Koroisau will captain the Fiji Bati in their tournament opener against Cook Islands as he lines up at a fourth World Cup.

Knights prop Jacob Saifiti has served his four-game suspension and will play his eighth Test for the Bati while Dolphins utility Kurt Donoghoe and Sea Eagle Brandon Wakeham combine in the halves.

After riding a rollercoaster of emotions in 2026, Jarome Luai will co-captain Samoa along with Junior Paulo as they open their campaign against France in Sydney.

Paulo and Luai are among five survivors from the Samoa side that lost the 2022 World Cup Final to the Kangaroos along with Brian To'o, Stephen Crichton and Spencer Leniu.

Knights edge forwards Jermaine McEwen and Francis Manuleleua will cap off their stunning 2026 season by making their Test debuts at CommBank Stadium.
