Canberra Raiders Team Lists

Orchids: Centre Relna Wuruki-Hosea, prop Gloria Kaupa and back-rower Mya Muller come into the starting side while Maria Biyama moves from the centre to the bench and prop Essay Banu has been sidelined with a leg injury. Jessikah Reeves goes from prop to lock with Kaupa coming in. After being 18th player for the week one clash against Cook Islands, Muller makes her Test debut, while Wuruki-Hosea also earns her first cap.

Tonga XIII: Just the one change to the side beaten by Cook Islands Moana with Bulldogs forward Paea Uilou joining the bench for her second Test appearance after debuting against Fetu Samoa in last year's Pacific Championships. Kaylani Tavita is the player to make way.

PNG Kumuls v Fiji Bati, Saturday 4.00pm (AEDT) at Santos National Football Stadium, Port Moresby

Kumuls: Prolific Townsville Blackhawks tryscorer Dudley Dotoi comes in on the wing in place of Robert Derby. After coming off the bench for the PM's XIIII and then missing last week's game, Valentine Richard comes into the starting side at prop. Jack de Belin moves from prop to lock and Liam Horne drops to 18th player. Robert Mathias has been promoted to the bench at the expense of Jacob Alick-Wiencke. 

Bati: The shoulder injury to Jethro Rinakama brings Wynnum Manly winger Ronald Philitoga in for his Test debut while centre Jope Rauqe also makes his international debut in the centres in place of Michael Jennings. Skipper Tui Kamikamica left the field for a HIA inside the last 15 minutes against Cook Islands in week one but is right to take his place in his 23rd Test match.  Former Titan Ben Nakubuwai joins the interchange for his 16th Test match, the first of which came back in 2016.

Kiwi Ferns v Jillaroos, Sunday 1.35pm (AEDT) at Eden Park, Auckland

Kiwi Ferns: Tiana Davison comes in at prop for the suspended Brianna Cark while winger Leianne Tufuga and forward Shaniece Monschau have also joined the 17, with Monschau on debut. Otesa Pule moves into the starting side in place of Shakira Baker, while Tysha Ikenasio has made way for Tufuga. Dragons youngster Trinity Tauaneai has been listed among the reserves after being added to Ricky Henry's main squad this week.

Jillaroos: Prop Ellie Johnston has been promoted to start after impressing in her Test debut off the bench against Fetu Samoa with Rima Butler sliding to the bench. Wests Tigers forward Sarah Togatuki has been added to the bench in her first appearance of the campaign. Jakiya Whitfield, who came off the bench to play on the wing last week, reverts to 18th player.

Kiwis v Tonga XIII, Sunday 4.05pm (AEDT) at Eden Park, Auckland

Kiwis: With Ronaldo Mulitalo (knee) and Jeremy Marshall-King (thumb) sidelined, Seb Kris comes in on the wing and Phoenix Crossland is the new starting hooker. Warriors utility Te Maire Martin and Broncos forward Xavier Willison have been added to the bench. Having previously played one Test for Cook Islands in 2022, Willison earns his first cap for New Zealand. Nelson Asofa-Solomona drops to 18th man after playing just 22 minutes off the bench in week one against Samoa.

Tonga XIII: A boost for Tonga with skipper Jason Taumalolo (knee) back on deck after missing the Samoa showdown but centre Rob Toia (foot) and prop Stefano Utoikamanu (concussion) are both sidelined. Panthers star Paul Alamoti comes in at centre while Felise Kaufusi moves to prop to cover for Utoikamanu. Dolphins young gun Kulikefu Finefuiaki is listed as 18th man.

Kumuls: The five big inclusions who weren't part of the PM's XIII game are skipper Lachlan Lam, hooker Edwin Ipape, back-rower Rhyse Martin, centre Zac Laybutt and tryscoring legend Alex Johnston. After coming off the bench in his only Test appearance last November, Morea Morea grabs the coveted No.1 jersey and veteran Nene MacDonald moves to centre in his 20th international for the Kumuls. Penty of experience in the pack with Jack de Belin and Nixon Putt while son of a gun Cooper Bai makes his Test debut off the bench alongside Finley Glare, Sylvester Namo and Jacob Alick.

Cook Islands: Captain KL Iro and winger Paul Ulberg broke 10 tackles between them last week and will again look to spark the Aitu backline. Esan Marsters has again been named at fullback and Caelys-Paul Putoko at five-eighth but they may swap on game day as they did against the Bati. Delahia Wigmore has been promoted from 18th man to the bench in place of Brody Tamarua.

Tonga XIII v Toa Samoa, Sunday 4.00pm (AEDT) at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane

Tonga XIII: Addin Fonua-Blake and Jason Taumalolo lead a star-studded Tonga outfit that includes 11 members of the side beaten 20-14 by the Kangaroos in the 2024 Pacific Cup final. State of Origin centre Robert Toia will make his Test debut as will Storm prop Stefano Utoikamanu, Warriors edge forward Leka Halasima and Eels young gun Isaiah Iongi, who will join Isaiya Katoa in the halves. Sea Eagles duo Haumole Olakau'atu (shoulder) and Taniela Paseka (achilles) are the notable absentees from last year's team.

Toa Samoa: Brothers Terrell and Taylan May are listed among the reserves after missing the opening game against the Kiwis with hamstring and quad injuries respectively. Hooker Jazz Tevaga has been named despite suffering a head knock last week with Chanel Harris-Tavita and Benaiah Ioelu both on the bench and ready to step up if needed. Simi Sasagi joins the starting side in place of Jaydn Su'A (head knock) with Melbourne's Ativalu Lisati joining the bench for his Test debut. Rising Dragons star Lyhkan King-Togia is 18th man.

Pacific Championships Team Lists: Week 2 - Women's

Cook Islands Moana v Tonga XIII, Saturday 2.00pm (AEDT) at Santos National Football Stadium, Port Moresby

Moana: A change in the centres with Keira Rangi coming in for her Test debut with Kiarah Siauane moving to the wing and Hannah Makira dropping out. Debutante Porche John and Jodeci Joseph are the new faces on the bench with Memory Paitai moving to 18th player and April Ngatupuna dropping to the reserves. 

Tonga XIII: Natasha Penitani and Pani Hopoate will show the way up front for Tonga in their opening match while second-rowers Manalita Takapautolo and Shannon Muru also offer plenty of go-forward. Bulldogs backs Moana Courtenay and Simina Lokotui make their Test debuts along with Newcastle's Fane Finau, Parramatta's Martha Mataele and playmaker Malia Tuifua, who will partner Emmanita Paki in the halves. Test debuts as well for Kaylani Tavita, Tatiana Finau and Iunisi-Ruby Smith-Tufulele-Fifita. Last year's captain and assistant coach Vanessa Foliaki is in the extended squad as a reserve. 

Jillaroos v Fetu Samoa, Sunday 2.00pm (AEDT) at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane

Jillaroos: Jess Skinner has named three debutantes for Australia's opening match of their Pacific Championships campaign with Jesse Southwell taking over as halfback from the injured Tarryn Aiken, while props Rima Butler and Ellie Johnston also get their first taste of international football. Co-captain Kezie Apps moves to her more favoured second-row position, while Olivia Kernick takes over at lock with Simaima Taufa out of the squad with injury. After coming off the bench in the Jillaroos' most recent match in Las Vegas, Roosters star Jess Sergis will start on one wing with Broncos premiership winner Julia Robinson on the other. Rooster Keeley Davis comes in at hooker after Olivia Higgins wore the No.9 in Vegas.

Fetu Samoa: A new-look backline with Jetaya Faifua moving from fullback to halfback to take over from Pauline Piliae-Rasabale. Titans young gun Destiny Mino-Sinapati slides to fullback and Mercedez Taulelei-Siala comes in on the wing for her fourth Test appearance. Simone Karpani has been elevated from 18th player the interchange in a straight swap with Ella-Jaye Harrison-Leaunoa.

Pacific Championships Team Lists: Week 1 - Men's

Fiji Bati v Cook Islands Aitu, Saturday 4.00pm (AEDT) at Santos National Football Stadium, Port Moresby

Fiji: Storm veteran Tui Kamikamica will captain the Bati in his 22nd Test match with Taane Milne, Kitione Kautoga and Caleb Navale adding plenty of punch in the pack. Speedsters Jahream Bula, Sunia Turuva and Michael Jennings will keep the Aitu defence busy as will debutant Jethro Rinakama on the wing. Prop Michael Waqa and interchange trio Solomone Saukuru, Terrell Kalo Kalo and Keresi Maya also make their international debut. Halfback Brandon Wakeham plays his 11th Test and first since the 2023 Pacific Bowl final against PNG.

Cook Islands: Veterans Tepai Moeroa, Brad Takairangi and Esan Marsters are joined by Sharks centre KL Iro and Broncos back-rower Brendan Piakura, who played three Test matches for Cook Islands in 2022 including the World Cup contests with PNG and Tonga. Wynnum-Manly Seagulls halfback Cassius Cowley makes his Test debut and Mason Teague lines up at hooker in is third international. Rabbitohs NSW Cup rake Rua Ngatikaura will back Teague up from the bench in his seventh Test for Cook Islands.

Kiwis v Toa Samoa, Sunday 4.05pm (AEDT) at Go Media Stadium, Auckland

Kiwis: James Fisher-Harris captains a vastly experienced side that includes 31-Test veteran Kieran Foran at halfback in his first international appearance since the 2023 Pac Champs Final. Twelve members of the team that defeated PNG in last year's promotion-relegation clash are part of the squad including Joseph Tapine, Erin Clark, Phoenix Crossland and Naufahu Whyte. Dolphins star Jeremy Marshall-King lines up at hooker in his first Test match since the 2022 World Cup. Forward leader Tapine wins his 23rd Test cap and Nelson Asofa-Solomona makes his 16th appearance in Kiwi colours. Broncos young gun Xavier Willison has been named 18th man as he chases a Test debut.

Toa Samoa: Jarome Luai and Junior Paulo lead a powerhouse Samoa squad that includes Payne Haas, Brian To'o, Terrell May, Jeremiah Nanai and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck. Young gun Blaize Talagi joins Luai in the halves while Izack Tago and Deine Mariner form a dynamic centre pairing. Raiders veteran Josh Papalii returns to the Toa Samoa side on a two-year mission to lead his country to a historic World Cup victory. The 33-year-old will play his first Test match since the 2022 World Cup final against Australia at Old Trafford. International newcomers Ata Mariota, Lyhkan King-Togia and Benaiah Ioelu are listed among the reserves.

Pacific Championships Team Lists: Week 1 - Women's

PNG Orchids v Cook Islands Moana, Saturday 2.00pm (AEDT) at Santos National Football Stadium, Port Moresby

Orchids: TBC

Moana: Sharks playmaker Chantay Kiria-Ratu will be a key figure for Cook Islands on the back of an impressive NRLW campaign in which she came up with nine try assists and five line break assists. Fullback Kiana Takairangi again captains the side while Warriors prop Lavinia Kitai leads from the front in her sixth Test match. Fellow front-rower Ashlee Matapo, centre Deleni Paitai, hooker Pearl Tuitama, winger Hannah Makira and bench playmaker Memory Paitai will all make their Test debuts.

Kiwi Ferns v Fetu Samoa, Sunday 1.35pm (AEDT) at Go Media Stadium, Auckland

Kiwi Ferns: Coach Ricky Henry has named four debutantes in his squad for the Pacific Cup opener with five-eighth Patricia Maliepo, back-rower Shakira Baker, winger Tysha Ikenasio and bench forward Ivana Lauitiiti earning their first caps. Halfback Raecene McGregor and lock Georgia Hale will captain the side which features premiership-winning Broncos Mele Hufanga and Brianna Clark as well as Sharks stars Annessa Biddle and Brooke Anderson, who line up in their sixth and seventh Tests respectively. Knights forward Tiana Davison is listed as 18th player.

Fetu Samoa: Broncos premiership winner Annetta-Claudia Nu'uausala will captain the side in her fifth Test for Samoa and 18th overall while fellow Brisbane forwards Destiny Brill and Shalom Sauaso are also part of Jamie Soward's team. Titans duo Taliah Fuimaono and Pauline Piliae-Rasabale will call the shots in the halves while youngsters Sarina Masaga and Destiny Mino-Sinapati are also part of a classy backline. Veteran Niall Williams-Guthrie lines up for her second Test appearance at age 37 in the second row alongside teenager Ryvrr-Lee Alo, who makes her Samoa debut after playing for Cook Islands in 2024.
