Wests Tigers are contesting suspensions for Adam Doueihi and Latu Fainu ahead of a crucial match, with Doueihi seeking a downgrade while Fainu pleads not guilty.

With their season on life support, Wests Tigers are going for broke and will fight the suspensions handed to halfback Adam Doueihi and young playmaker Latu Fainu.
The Tigers were set to be without them for Saturday's trip to Canberra but have opted to contest the charges handed to the pair that stemmed from their miserable loss to Canterbury.
Doueihi has pleaded guilty but is seeking a downgrade at the NRL judiciary on Tuesday for his grade two careless high tackle on Bulldogs prop Harry Hayes.

The Raiders Jersey Flegg Cup scored a brilliant 28-26 comeback victory over the Rabbitohs at Raiders Belconnen on Sunday afternoon.
The visitors started strong, bouncing out to a 22-6 lead at the halftime break.

With it all to do, the Raiders started the half strong with two tries to Hardy Glover and Alex Hardy to close the lead to 26-16.
Canberra continued their momentum, spreading the ball sideline to sideline before both big men Jayze Tuigamala and Shalom Uatisone crashed over to hit the lead and claim victory for the Green Machine.

Fainu is facing a two-match suspension for a grade three dangerous contact charge, while the Tigers look set to be without their halfback for next week's game in Canberra after Doueihi was offered a one-game ban for a high shot on Harry Hayes.
Both players risk an additional week if they fight the charges and lose at the judiciary.
The bans have all but ended their hopes of making the finals for the first time since 2011, with the club on a five-game losing streak after the Bulldogs defeat where they failed to score a point in Jarome Luai's first game since he signed with the Eels.
They looked completely out of sorts, with the emotional toll of the past few weeks leading to some poor discipline from their senior players.

The Bulldogs have kick-started their NRLW season with a hard-fought 24-18 victory over Cronulla, the Roosters remained unbeaten and the Warriors handed North Queensland another heavy defeat in Saturday's Round 3 action.
Canterbury and the Sharks entered their clash at Accor Stadium desperate for their first points of 2026 after losing their opening two matches.
The Bulldogs had managed just four tries across those defeats but looked a transformed side as they raced to a 14-0 lead after 17 minutes.
Winger Simina Lokotui scored a hat-trick in the win, her first a 60-metre intercept try which gave the Bulldogs an important momentum swing.
