The Panthers fell in Power Rankings after losing to the Warriors, while the Roosters show better recent form.

They've been top dogs all season, but the Panthers have dropped in the Power Rankings after their loss to the Warriors where they were hit with a major injury blow.

Read on for our Power Rankings ahead of Round 24.

1. SYDNEY ROOSTERS

While Penrith has been the more consistent team across the entirety of the season, the Roosters are in the better form as of late even if their most recent win was far from convincing.

In fact, outside of the historic win over North Queensland, the Roosters haven't quite put together a strong 80 minutes since the 26-0 shutout victory over Canberra in June.

The Brisbane Broncos lost 22-4 to the Raiders, ending their winning streak and challenging their response before facing tough opponents.

For 15 straight games, the Brisbane Broncos had found a way to win. Then in Canberra, they didn't.

The reigning premiers were beaten 22-4 by a Raiders side that came into round six with just two wins. It was a stunning result, but perhaps more importantly, it was the first time this season Brisbane had been forced to confront something they hadn't experienced for a very long time: losing control of a game.

The question now isn't whether the Broncos are still a good football team. They are. The question is how they respond.

Last season, the Broncos lost just once in the regular season, against the Roosters, before going on to win the premiership. That defeat became part of the process - a loss they had to have. This one comes at a different point in their development.

They now face the Roosters and Titans in consecutive weeks before finishing their regular season against the Warriors, and they will do it (for this weekend at least) without Ali Brigginshaw and Jada Ferguson.

Jesse Ramien's season ends due to pectoral surgery, leaving Cronulla without him as they aim for a second premiership.

Jesse Ramien's hopes of leaving Cronulla as a premiership winner are over following season-ending pectoral surgery.

The 29-year-old centre went down in Sunday's upset loss to St George Illawarra and had scans on Monday before going under the knife.

It means Ramien will not play again before joining North Queensland in 2027, with Mawene Hiroti to take his place at centre against Canberra this weekend.

Ramien's decision to go under the knife comes the same week Penrith co-captain Isaah Yeo delayed surgery on his own pectoral injury in a bid to return for finals.
